There is no right or wrong, only the clashing differences of Chinese and western culture, as well as the day to day living habits. The real question is how we can give based on each other’s best interests. This is relatable for many Chinese immigrated families. Even though, there might not always be a perfect solution to our problems, remember, that the best gift is companionship.
